I have been to Panama City, Panama many times from March 2006 to May 2008 and each time have seen significant new construction projects and new housing areas.

The main issues are a salary that is far below cost of goods and services to include gas prices and public schools with teachers and support systems that are not adequately funded.

Part-time work is almost non-existent when employers could utilize this level of employment.

There is a lack of control in construction when companies from Columbia can begin site construction for 190 homes close to Corridor Norte and be penalized for having the basic permits approved prior to start of the project. Think again about who is behind the housing project and see how long you have to wait before you can get the keys to your new house!
